Shipping policy

At Anchor54 we prioritize the safe and timely delivery of your high-value marine equipment. Please review our shipping terms below.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Processing: All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

  • Delays: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or if a specific part is on backorder with the manufacturer, shipments may be delayed by a few days. We will contact you via email or phone if there will be a significant delay.

2. Mandatory Signature Requirement (High-Value Items)

  • Protection: To ensure the safety of your purchase, all orders over $500 will require a direct signature upon delivery.

  • Availability: Please ensure someone is available at the shipping address to sign for the package. Carriers (UPS/FedEx) will typically make three attempts before returning the item to us.

  • Returned Shipments: If a package is returned to us because no one was available to sign, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item.

3. Damages & Issues

  • Inspection: You must inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival.

  • Reporting Window: If your packaging is damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at (252) 413-9616 or via email.

  • Procedure: Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

4. Lost or Stolen Packages

  • Liability: Hastings Install & Repair is not liable for any packages that are lost or stolen after the carrier has marked them as "Delivered."

  • Secure Location: It is the customer's responsibility to provide a secure delivery location.

  • Insurance: We highly recommend selecting shipping insurance at checkout for orders under $500 where a signature is not automatically required.

5. PO Boxes & APO/FPO

  • Physical Addresses Only: Due to the size and nature of marine electronics and trolling motors, we generally utilize UPS and FedEx. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a valid physical street address.

6. Shipping Rates

  • Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of the items and your location.
